Among our clients, black currant is a must buy. No joking, it is one of the most healthiest berries in the world, due to the amount of antioxidants in it. Due to the healthy compounds, black currant has very sour taste, so either you will like it or you will not.
We don’t have plenty of black currants in Serbia, but since Serbia doesn’t expot frozen black currant, all processors have enough quantities. Harvest is in July, and main black currant region is South-Eastern Serbia.
