Dried Black Trumpet


Black trumpet is popular due to its smoky, rich flavor and fruity aroma. It is easy to identify in forests, but not so easy to find. In Serbia, season lasts from August till October, and quantities are usually limited. Black trumpet, or black chanterelle, is sold in fresh, frozen and dried condition and this mushroom is very well appreciated in the kitchen.
