Boletus edulis, or porcini mushroom is probably the most famous wild mushroom in the world. It grows widely in Northern hemisphere across Europe, Asia and North America. In Serbia, it grows in many regions and it represents significant income for many people that collect them in the woods. Harvest lasts from June till October, and it is sold in fresh, frozen and dried condition.
