Chanterelle mushrooms are highly appreciated for their excellent flavor. These mushrooms have a taste that can be described as fruity and nutty with pepper notes. Chanterelle is the first mushroom to come in the year, in May. Quantities available in forests are sometimes enormous, and sometimes very limited, so the market is very different every year.
